Los Osos resident Lani Steele, poet and mystery writer, will be at the library on May 1 from 7 – 9 p.m.

She will read from her work, sign books, and answer questions. Wine and refreshments will be served.

Steele’s short mystery stories have appeared in Red Herring, Mystery Magazine, Sisters in Crime Anthology Deadlines, and will be included in a forthcoming holiday murder anthology. She has also published the novel Absence Is No Alibi, and writes and shares poetry through readings and publication. Her poetry books include Crowded With Ghosts and A Plague Of Angels. Steele is happy to be a supporter of the Poetry in the Schools program.
