Lili has studied Communication for twenty years. She has worked as a phone counselor for the Parent Connection and for Stand Strong. She’s presented workshops and facilitated support groups. Lili has three books published, two non-fiction and one fiction. All her books are about relationships because life is about relationships. Her goal in writing is to create a space of curiosity, so relating can become life affirming, allowing people to live meaningful and fulfilling lives.

She will read from her work, sign books, and answer questions. Wine and refreshments will be served. 

Rolynn describes herself as Scandinavian, Army brat, wife, English teacher, high school principal, golfer, boater, world traveler, and author. She delights in creating imperfect characters faced with extraordinary, transforming challenges. Her hope: You'll devour her ‘makeover’ romantic suspense/mystery novels in the wee hours of the morning because her stories, settings, and characters capture your imagination and your heart. Rolynn is the author of Last Resort, Lie Catchers, Fear Land, Bad Lies, and Cézanne’s Ghost as well as the funeral planner suspense trio Fadeout, Swoon, and Faint.

Los Osos resident Lani Steele, poet and mystery writer, will be at the library on May 1 from 7 - 9 p.m.
She will read from her work, sign books, and answer questions. Wine and refreshments will be served. 


Steele's short mystery stories have appeared in Red Herring, Mystery Magazine, Sisters in Crime Anthology Deadlines, and will be included in a forthcoming holiday murder anthology. She has also published the novel Absence Is No Alibi, and writes and shares poetry through readings and publication. Her poetry books include Crowded With Ghosts and A Plague Of Angels. Steele is happy to be a supporter of the Poetry in the Schools program.

Barbara M Hodges
Author of suspense, fantasy, and children's books.

Barbara M Hodges is the author or co-author of 14 works of fiction. She lives on the central coast of California with her husband Jeff and two rescue basset hounds, Heidi and Monty. Barbara is involved with basset hound rescue, and you will always find a basset hound in her stories. Barbara loves to tell a good story and writes in many genres. Her latest releases are a children's picture book, The Adventures of Monty, and a paranormal suspense, Hounded by Death. The Adventures of Monty tells the story of how Monty joined their family and Hounded by Death introduces the reader to a bakery owner who talks to spirits.
